Unorganized

My life lately has been completely unorganized. I can not get on top of things or as soon as I think I have made some headway, I've fallen behind. While tending to the needs of two young children I walk past the ever growing laundry pile, hoping the laundry fairy will come and take care of it. She must be behind too because the pile keeps growing.

Hubby was out of town last week on a business trip. His first one since Cohen was born. I had help at night which I was so grateful for and during the day I hit the mall. Not being home made the week go by faster. Hubby says I need to find a less expensive way to get out of the house. After I put the boys to bed I clean the kitchen and living room. While cleaning I watch shows I have DVR'd. The Bachelor....wow what  a train wreck! Michelle scares me and all the kissing makes me want to throw up. Thank goodness I can fast forward. :)

One of the books I am reading when I have a few extra minutes is "Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands" by Paul Tripp. It is a great book! Check it out when you have a chance.

I just wanted to stop in for a second. I am being summoned by Cohen. Have a great rest of your day!

  4. Sounds like you are doing good. It will take a bit to get into a routine. I just cleared a pile in our bedroom on Sat. and finished it on Mon. It needed done and so I finally attacked it and the room looks so much better. Have a great day!

  5. I totally can relate. January is just not getting into any rhythm for me at all either and I feel like my head has way too many things to remember and do to actually get much of it done (and I have 5 kiddos but even with 1 it is easy to get sidetracked). Don't stress it and things will come around. At least you made this post!

  6. It'll get better! It is so strange going from a one child routine to a two child routine...and most of my days are anything but routine! :) we currently also have laundry piled up everywhere...it seems that in my few minutes alone I tend to retreat to read or blog or breathe instead of doing laundry! Not to say I don't DO the laundry...it gets washed...and folded...and refolded after my sweet daughter tries everything on...but the putting away part always gets me!
As far as getting out to make the days go faster- with 2 kids and a husband who works FT and goes to seminary...I do that alot! We do a lot of parks, friend's houses, Target, and our town has a couple of indoor playplaces (nice ones not like McDs).
